Our Beef
The Steakout’s head chef, Jason Borg, has conducted a search Australia-wide for the finest beef this country has to offer. This will ensure that the steak you select from our menu is of the highest quality, consistency and flavour. The beef we serve you is MSA™ (Meat Standards Australia™) Heritage Premium and selected Angus grain fed beef. Our beef comes from regions such as Avon Valley in Western Australia, Yarranbrook in Queensland and King Island in Tasmania where the Black Angus, Murray Grey and Hereford cattle breed on the soft pastures of that region. Our cattle are grain-fed to deliver to you a superior taste, premium grade texture and perfect marbling.
 

What is MSA™
Meat Standards Australia™ (MSA™) is a beef grading program that labels beef with a guarantee of tenderness and assists us in developing cooking methods to produce the perfect steak. MSA™ Certified Graders collate information on individual cattle attributes such as breed content, meat colour, marbling, fat, depths and maturity. These factors all have an effect on the quality of the beef. This strict grading criteria helps us in ensuring the steak on your plate is of the highest quality.

Integrity
The Steakout is licensed to use the MSA™ trademark as a standard to give you a guaranteed steak every time. As a Licensee, The Steakout is subject to independent annual random audit programs to ensure strict compliance within the Meat Standards Australia™ program.
